Drader started its business with light metal fabrication and it still plays an important role in its business today. The production of bakery trays has allowed Drader to expand its custom metal stamping and forming capabilities. Drader has numerous presses that punch and stamp out metal parts for its clients.

Another key aspect of Drader's metal operations is the wire straightening and forming department. Heater guards, wiener forks, bookracks and shelves are some of the many items that Drader produces for its customers. One area of wire processing in which Drader proves itself unique is how we cut, straighten and form high carbon steel. Drader is the only one in Western Canada doing this right now.
