Extrusion
A process with a great profile

Plastic extrusion is a production process that yields profiles such as rods, tubes and shapes. It is a continuous feed process where products are extruded and cut to length (while injection molding is a process where plastic is formed into a shape). Drader's extrusion lines process a variety of commodity and engineered resins. Complex shapes and shorter production runs don't worry the staff at Drader. "We can produce the profile" are words commonly heard around the plant.

Plastic extrusion is all custom work. Drader talks to a customer to see what they need, recommend materials, design a die, then process the part. Production runs can be accommodated to meet the delivery needs of customers. Specific colour matching is done at the customer's request.
